What this app stores

The app stores three kinds of data.

  • A random device ID in your browser. This ID is not tied to your name.
  • Your practice records: which questions you answered, your confidence rating, and how long you spent on each question.
  • Your NetID, only if you choose to enter it in the app.

What this app does not store

  • No passwords.
  • No grades from D2L.
  • No official course records.
  • No personal data other than a self-entered NetID.
  • No advertising trackers.

Where the data lives

I store the data in Supabase, a managed database service in the United States. I am the only person with direct database access.

Who can see your NetID

Only I can see your NetID by default. Dr. Leitner can see it on request. I use the NetID to match your practice records to your course grades. This shows me which parts of the app work and which parts need to be fixed.

How to remove your data

You have two options.

  1. Open Settings in the app and use Clear All Data. This removes your data from your device.
  2. Email couzens@arizona.edu and ask for a full wipe. I will remove your records from Supabase and confirm by email within seven days.

End of semester

I remove NetIDs from stored records at the end of each semester. Anonymous usage statistics stay in the database. These statistics show me how the app is used so I can improve it.

Analytics

The app uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous page-view counts. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
